WEEK18,,Finally

Week18: The last week on this project and this is my final blog. This week was terrible, Iam thinking of our project grade and our oral defense even in my dreams because I became confused when someone asking me especially Mr.Tridib:p
I know that I’m late so I apologize, but really I was so busy that’s why I can’t write my blogs. In this week we sit together and worked on the final thing. Each groups had some mistakes and they trying to fix it before the deadline. I worked on the code for all the queries, sometime I add or delete to get the right one. At the end of the day, we faced that some of query doesn’t work so we got crazy and try to solve it quickly, Mr. Tridib were very kind because he give us extra time. Finally, It’s really hard project but it’s interesting one:)

WEEK17

Week17:In this week, we discussed the php with the evening student, they were confused a little bet but they are really tried to understand more because there is NO time. Also, I’m confused and afraid because I want to understand my part and the other’s part in my group. I want to learn more about how to write PHP code and understand more about this language code so, I asked the other section and they told me but it was different than the evening student so I became more confuse. Moreover, I have spend more time in these days working on (www.tizag.com),it was really helpful, these tutorials are very educational and useful, so now I have to spend more time in tutorials. I will spend this night in reading php books and try to learn more in a different way.

WEEK16

week16: Before I continue more in learning PHP I have to take an idea and understanding basic things of HTML: HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language which helps me to with HTML you can create your own Web site. /XHTML: XML stands for Extensible Markup Language ,XML is a markup language much like HTML ,XML was designed to carry data, not to display data, finally XML was designed to transport and store data. and JavaScript is used in millions of Web pages to add functionality, validate forms, detect browsers, and much more.Morover, JavaScript was designed to add interactivity to HTML pages. On other hand, I will learn all these information from the girls who are working on it, but I want to just have an idea about those from this helpful site: www.w3schools.com. Also, I tried to do the quizzes for those subjects, the result were not happy but I will focus on the php quiz online which I will do it next week after understanding more about php .

WEEK15

Week15:In this week I was busy with my projects, so I spent 2days on(store your information project).Everyday I learn more and more about PHP which is a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages. With the passage of time, I discovered the extent of fun for this program. I learn more by myself, it’s little bit hard but it’s really fun, I hope I’m learning on the right way. First, I read an useful book (PHP For The World Wide Web), it’s a good book for the beginning who wants to learn about php program, it’s easy cause it is with pictures which is rather than lengthy explanation. Furthermore, I have the php quiz, honestly I did it Several times, in each time I felt that I’m learning more and understand.

WeeK14

Week14: During this week I set with my friend Fatima who is with me in group and tried to find different sites that’s help us more. We watched some useful videos how to put a code and get a specific result. We were tired but we tried to focus more.

WeeK13

Week13: During this week, I Concentrate on Networking Project, Mr. Tridib sat with us to discuss about this project and tried to explain the project step-by –step. But I tried to work on php, I focused on Dreamweaver and hoe to insert a right codes to get a good result that I want it. Also, I asked the other group to tell me more about MySQL because it’s connecting with php.

WEEK12

Week12:During this week, I didn’t spend a lot of time on this project because we have an ILETS exam. I become tired of searching for information and read it only, I decided to change little pit and try to create a Database and Table. I found INSTALLING, CONFIGURING, AND DEVELOPING WITH XAMPP Article very helpful for me. This article provides a step-by-step tutorial on developing a simple address book program using the PHPprogramming language. It’s shows me how to creating a new database and table easlly.I should try it again to make sure that I understand it in a good way.

WEEK11

Week 11: This week was very hard for us because we have a lot of projects that we have to finish it. On the other hand, we have to spend at least one hour on project (Store Your Information Projects).Every day I understand more new things about my part. Although, Mr. Tridib show us new things so tried to work in Dreamweaver this week. Also, I have to download php to understand it clearly. Sometimes I feel that project is so difficult specifically when Mr.Tridib asks us if we are good tell now L Next week we will meet together with Mr.Tridib and Miss.Haya and they will answer our questions I prepared some question and I hope that class will help me more to understand.

WEEK10

Week 10:In this week class Mr.Tridib explained to us in details about XAMPP program and how we use which it is our project (Store Your Information Projects). Really Mr.Tridib Spent a long time trying to explain to us more details about our project, he explained each part of the project and answers our questions very clearly Although, he helped some students who failed in installing the XAMPP program . It would be safe to say that I understand more about php but I didn’t know if I understand my subject correctly.

WEEK9

Week 9:I found some useful websites explaining the php in details. I share the information with my group members and will do more researches. This is a new project and I will be using a new program but first we have we have to download a development platform called XAMPP. After that, I should do a lot of research about my subject. I started to learn new things in the PHP.I find many websites that will help me in understanding the PHP step-by-step. Compared to other projects, this project is new one because we have to figure new programs by ourselves so me and my group members have some difficult in sharing new thing because each one understood in different way, but that really will help us to understand our project.

Here I will write what I learned every week during this semester. That will help us to be contact with our teachers.

Week 8: The first week for us with a new project (Store Your Information Projects). Mr. Tridib gave us the project document , he gave as a n idea about our new project and he told us that we MUST work on our project daily which that will helps us to understand more about our subject in the project and after that we will fell that is simple project which I hope it isJ The are four subjects in this project which are:
XAMPP/MySQL/PHP (Database and web technology)/ Designing your application
As a group we set together, we divided the work between us and each member in the group will be expert in one topic and then explain those points to each other in order to be expert as well.
Finally, after we had distributed the work between us; I took (Expertise with PHP and extracting data from and inputting into the database).
Then I tried to stared searching about PHP and understanding it.
I found some useful website, to help me to learn more about PHP such us: http://www.php.net/tut.php / http://www.w3schools.com/PHP/php_intro.asp / and http://www.hotscripts.comand I found some books in the library but I prefer the sites than the books, maybe I will use the books after taking an idea about me subject.
The first step is to understand the meaning of PHP which is:
